What’s your wish today.
What do you think,
When you’re thinking
Of what to think.
When wants and wishes
Are all here,
Take a moment
To realise a full cup
The emptiness,
Never came in halves.
You never had the time
To count your blessings
To pet your calves.
What do you think,
When your cup is full
And you turn a blind eye
And the completeness waits
For a mere glance
Of appreciation,
Of eyes full of gratitude,
Of May be just a blink.
What do you think,
When you are thinking,
What should I think next.
And then you put on that game,
Or The Facebook videos,
Which you know,
Are just a show
Humour has lost its soul.
And so has the meaning of fun,
Come over when you’re done
With painted faces,
With pouts and poses
Do you know the smell of daffodils?
Do you remember the red of the roses?
What do you think,
When a random thought,
Of completeness,
Passes by your busy day,
The evenings that drown into the drinks.
Do you still remember the smell of the ink?
If being in nothing was to live,
Why come back
To witness another day?
The possibilities of tomorrows
Is calling you to stay
It’s not the problems,
It’s you who’s running away.
If you could only know,
What’s the worth,
Of an open sky
Green grass to play,
You would know the joys
Of all the Dance and sway
And now you know,
What’s your wish today.
